Job description

Amazon Leo is Amazon's low Earth orbit satellite broadband network. Its mission is to deliver fast, reliable internet to customers and communities around the world, and we've designed the system with the capacity, flexibility, and performance to serve a wide range of customers, from individual households to schools, hospitals, businesses, government agencies, and other organizations operating in locations without reliable connectivity.
Export Control Requirement: Due to applicable export control laws and regulations, candidates must be a U.S. citizen or national, U.S

permanent resident (i.e., current Green Card holder), or lawfully admitted into the U.S. as a refugee or granted asylum.
The Amazon Leo team is looking for material planners to manage material schedules, collaborate and assist in process improvements.
The ideal candidate has experience in SAP (S/4 HANA) materials requirements planning (MRP) systems, managing moderate to complex materials plans, has an understanding of business acumen and judgment, analytical abilities, written, verbal communication skills and awareness to various cross-functional organization inter- dependencies.
Have a bias toward data driven decision making, be comfortable with ambiguity and juggling multiple projects, be able to think big and creatively (while paying careful attention to detail), and enjoy working in a dynamic environment.
Key job responsibilities
Own schedule management for assigned categories and manage exceptions generated by MRP
Incorporate MRP recommendation
Perform clear to build assessments on production work orders
Assist in managing shortages and floor scrap replacement
Monitor schedule performance of production work order adherence
Periodic review of order modifiers like fixed order quantity, fixed lot multiplier
Continuous improvement to reorder points to improve results of stock availability
Identify and resolve data quality issues
Exhibit a constant passion for delivering an exceptional customer experience
Influence supplier investments in continuous improvement to improve results at continually lower costs and risks
Prepare and provide data driven reviews to management with a focus on optimizing the supply chain for performance
Create SOPs to manage transaction processing.
Engage in short, medium and long range planning activities to provide consistency in services
