Job description

Amazon LEO is Amazon's low Earth orbit satellite broadband network. Its mission is to deliver fast, reliable internet to customers and communities around the world, and we've designed the system with the capacity, flexibility, and performance to serve a wide range of customers, from individual households to schools, hospitals, businesses, government agencies, and other organizations operating in locations without reliable connectivity.
The Aerospace Manufacturing Engineer keeps aerospace environmental test production running smoothly. You will be the front-line technical resource for our production test floor-troubleshooting issues technicians encounter during daily testing and resolving problems spanning test setup, equipment, and IT infrastructure. Develop scripts and applications (Python or similar) to automate redundant tasks, improve test stability, and expand monitoring/alerting coverage
Analyze rack downtime, failure, and calibration data to identify and drive availability improvements
Define and implement solutions to optimize and automate environmental testing processes
Work with test and design engineers to refine test requirements and the methodologies used to achieve them
Willing to roll up sleeves and do what needs to be done in a small, specialized team environment
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

- Experience writing, reading, and debugging software in Python, C, C#, or a similar language
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- 2+ years of experience with environmental testing, with focus on thermal and vacuum (TVAC) test processes
- 2+ years of experience working with RF test systems, including calibration of RF test equipment
- 4+ years of experience in hardware design, development, validation, and delivery of embedded hardware products
