Prime Video Studios is looking for a Coordinator to support the Nonfiction Series Production team. This role is the operational backbone of a fast-paced production department, supporting multiple shows across all phases of development, production, and post-production.
You will work closely with production executives, external production companies, and cross-functional teams to keep projects organized and moving forward. Key job responsibilities
โ€ข Provide day-to-day administrative and operational support for the Nonfiction Series Production team
โ€ข Manage calendars, scheduling, and travel coordination for production executives
โ€ข Coordinate production calendars and maintain shooting schedules across multiple active series
โ€ข Facilitate onboarding and offboarding of production staff
โ€ข Handle expense processing and reporting
โ€ข Manage shipments, office supplies, and physical production logistics
โ€ข Serve as a liaison between internal departments, external production companies, and talent agencies
โ€ข Coordinate executive set visits and audience show logistics
โ€ข Maintain asset inventory and production documentation
โ€ข Support team events, gifting requests, and ad hoc projects as needed
A day in the life
You might start the morning updating a production calendar, then jump into a production meeting reviewing budgets and schedules with executives. By midday, you're processing expense reports and coordinating with an external production company on deliverables. That afternoon, you could find yourself in a creative meeting discussing casting selects or story direction for an upcoming series. No two days look the same. You will support production executives who oversee series from development through delivery, interacting regularly with production companies, internal creative teams, and operations partners.
About the team
The Nonfiction Series Production team at Prime Video Studios oversees the physical production of unscripted and documentary series. This role also supports projects under MGM Alternative, giving you exposure to a wide range of content across competition series, game shows, docu-series, and branded entertainment. We work with world-class production companies to bring compelling stories to a global audience. Our team values collaboration, resourcefulness, and a passion for great content. BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent
- Can communicate effectively with all levels of the organization
- 2-3 years of work experience as assistant or coordinator
- Knowledge of a variety of computer software applications in word processing, spreadsheets, database and presentation software (Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, Excel)
- Attention to detail in composing, typing, and proofing materials, establishing priorities and meeting deadlines
- Experience in a fast paced environment with demonstrated ability to juggle multiple competing tasks and demands
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Experience with executive level calendar management
- Experience with domestic or international travel coordination
- Experience as production assistant and working knowledge of production workflows
- Experience with Air Table

The base salary range for this position is listed below. Your Amazon package will include sign-on payments and restricted stock units (RSUs). Final compensation will be determined based on factors including experience, qualifications, and location.
