Job description

Cloud/DevOps Engineer
Fort Lauderdale (South Florida)
Long term (open ended) contract
No C2C at this moment. Any visa works
Top Three Skills:
1.) 4-5 years' experience AWS or Azure. MUST have good amount experience (4-5 years) Amazon AWS - expect them to be able architect, create applications, deploy platforms within AWS. Looking for people can do as well as think. If don't have AWS, but have Azure, that is an equivalent. At the moment, Client just has AWS, but we are looking to do stuff with Azure as well. What we have starting in Q2 of this coming year, we are going through a migration program - migrating all of the on-prem applications to the cloud. This is a HUGE undertaking, which will take multiple years - people that have had experience migrating applications to AWS or Azure.
2.) 2+ years' experience working with configuration management tools. MUST have some form of configuration management tool: Chef, Teraform, Salt, Puppet - anything of that nature is a pre-requisite. If they only have one of those things, that is fine. Amount of experience, some only have been around for 4-5 years, so if they have 2-3 years' experience. Currently using Chef at Client .Someone that can write cookbooks, create recipes.
3.) Excellent communication skills, written & verbal. Must be self-sufficient
