  • Assist patients in adhering to medical treatments prescribed by primary care providers, including coping mechanisms for potential medication side effects.
  • Uphold the Code of Ethical Conduct for Clinical Professionals while fulfilling additional duties as assigned.
Patient Population / Client Focus

This role primarily serves a diverse population of patients seeking mental health support within a community health context. Your work will focus on individuals facing various mental health challenges, from anxiety and depression to those with complex psychosocial needs. The mission emphasizes both clinical excellence and compassion, ensuring every patient receives individualized care that takes into account their unique circumstances.

Qualifications
  • A Master’s Degree in Clinical Counseling or a closely related field is required.
  • A valid Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) license is essential for this role.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of mental health assessment procedures, treatment planning, and psychotherapeutic techniques.

  • Strong interpersonal skills, enabling effective communication with patients, families, and healthcare teams.
  • Mental and physical capability to handle the demands of the role effectively.
  • Thorough understanding of the psychosocial impact that mental health struggles can have on patients and their families.
  • Knowledge of community resources and their effective utilization.
Preferred Experience
  • Experience working within a healthcare team, especially in a primary care or community health clinic setting.
  • Proficiency in bi-lingual English-Spanish communication is preferred, to better serve our diverse patient base.
Compensation and Benefits
