Le gestionnaire de la logistique supervise la gestion d'entree et de sortie des composants informatiques utilises dans nos systemes pour offrir aux clients les services de nos centres de donnees. Il gere une petite equipe d'assistants en logistique et l'agrandit pour repondre a la demande operationnelle de plusieurs sites au sein d'une meme region

Le gestionnaire de la logistique controle l'inventaire du centre de donnees, les livraisons entrantes et sortantes, et s'assure que les stocks sont maintenus a des niveaux appropries pour soutenir les activites de construction et de reparation dans tous les etablissements. En collaboration avec les gestionnaires de centre de donnees, il est responsable de l'elaboration de plans visant a optimiser le mouvement des pieces tout au long du cycle de vie de l'inventaire et des biens, en suivant l'emplacement, les mouvements, l'age et la rotation des stocks. Il travaille en etroite collaboration avec les techniciens et les ingenieurs du centre de donnees pour s'assurer que les pieces de rechange manquantes ou endommagees n'entravent pas les activites de l'entreprise et que les pieces de rechange sont disponibles rapidement et sans erreur.

Il travaille avec les services d'approvisionnement et d'ingenierie materielle pour acheter et recevoir directement des fournisseurs de nouvelles pieces et interfaces, puis s'occupe des autorisations de retour d'articles (RMA) et recoit les pieces de rechange. Il est responsable de la saisie exacte des donnees et de la resolution des questions des organisations homologues. Le gestionnaire ideal de la logistique analysera les donnees pour comprendre le cycle de vie des actifs du centre de donnees.

AWS is a fast paced technology company and a leader in the world of data centers. The Logistics Manager oversees the life cycle of the incoming and outgoing IT components that are used in our systems to provide Customers with services from our Data Centers. They manage a small team of Logistics Associates and scale the team to meet business demands at multiple sites within a single region

The Logistics Manager reviews Data Center inventory, in-bound and out-bound shipments and keeps-up with our ongoing demand to ensure proper stock levels are maintained to support build and repair activities in all locations. Working with Data Center Managers, they create plans to optimize the flow of parts through the inventory and asset life cycle; tracking inventory location, movement, age, and turns. They work closely with Data Center Operations Technicians and Data Center Engineers to fulfill parts quickly and accurately and assure the business is never constrained due to missing or damaged spare parts.

They make sure that their team works well with Procurement and Hardware Engineering to purchase new parts and interfaces with vendors to process RMAs and receive replacements. They are responsible for accurate data entry and resolving questions from peer organizations. The ideal Logistics Manager will dive deep into data to understand everything about the Data Center asset life cycle.
