HireHawk

Montreal, QC • Remote

Full-time

Job description

  • Employment Type: Full-Time Contractor
  • Workplace: Remote

At HireHawk, we believe in building strong, long-term partnerships with our clients by delivering exceptional service and results. We work with global companies and top-tier talent, helping them scale through high-quality recruiting and operational excellence.

You'll act as the creative owner of the brand: translating the founder's vision into work that is consistent, high quality, and performance-aware across packaging, digital assets, and marketing materials. This is a builder role, not a "receive tasks and execute" role-you'll set direction, create structure, and lead a team while staying hands-on when it matters.

You'll also bring a strong production mindset: understanding what's feasible, how to prep files correctly, and how to get ideas across the finish line without quality slipping.

Responsibilities:

  • Own and evolve the brand's creative direction across packaging, web, email, and paid social so it stays consistent and unmistakably "on brand"
  • Translate founder vision into clear briefs, concepts, and execution plans that a creative team can deliver against
  • Lead, coach, and quality-check designers and render artists, ensuring high standards and reliable output
  • Build and maintain a design system (templates, guidelines, asset libraries) that improves speed without diluting brand quality
  • Drive performance creative that's made to test and win on TikTok and Meta, partnering with growth to learn and iterate quickly
  • Own the packaging production workflow end-to-end: print specs, file setup, proofing, revisions, and vendor handoff
  • Create structure where it doesn't exist yet (intake process, prioritization, review cadences, naming/version control) so creative production scales smoothly
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with marketing, product, and growth to align launches, messaging, and visual storytelling
  • Step in hands-on for high-impact work when needed (art direction, layout, final polish, launch-critical deliverables)
  • Manage external partners selectively (printers, photographers, freelancers) while keeping quality, timelines, and brand standards tight

Requirements

Must-Have:

  • Proven experience owning creative direction for e-commerce/DTC brands, from concept through execution
  • Hands-on experience creating Amazon listing images, A+ / Premium A+ content, and overall high-end beauty/personal care creative execution
  • Strong background in digital marketing, branding, and multi-channel creative execution (paid social, site, email, product/launch assets)
  • Experience leading and directing other creatives (designers, render artists, or similar), including feedback and quality control
  • Hands-on understanding of production: packaging files, print specs, file formats, and real-world production constraints
  • Experience with performance-driven creative for TikTok and/or Meta (you know how to build for testing, iteration, and learning)
  • Comfort operating with ambiguity and building structure, priorities, and process (high ownership, not task-by-task dependency)
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills across marketing, product, and growth in a remote environment

Nice-to-Have:

  • Prior creative direction experience in dermatology, skincare, beauty, or closely related categories
  • Experience developing TikTok-native creative approaches (UGC concepts, creator briefs, hook/scroll-stopping frameworks)
  • Familiarity managing or collaborating with 3D/render workflows and teams
  • Experience building internal creative capability after relying on agencies (process, standards, hiring/bench building)

Benefits

  • Access to a $200K+ perk marketplace with discounts on 150+ global services.
  • Option to withdraw up to 50% of approved earnings before payday.
