Job description

Shape the future of global delivery - own programs that make cross-border shipping as fast and simple as domestic for customers in 190+ countries.
At Amazon, we're guided by the principle that what's good for customers is good for everyone. This role directly accelerates Amazon's flywheel by making cross-border delivery faster and more reliable - improving customer experience, attracting more international sellers to our marketplace, and expanding the selection available to customers worldwide.
Amazon Global Logistics is seeking an experienced Program Manager to independently own and deliver strategic cross-border export programs that improve delivery speed for international customers. You will scope and create project plans, develop processes, coordinate cross-functional execution, and communicate status, risks, and recommendations to senior leadership

In this role, you will own speed programs related to our carrier and third-party partners, working cross-functionally to drive customer-centric outcomes across multiple verticals.
Key job responsibilities
- Own end-to-end delivery of cross-functional export speed programs, developing project plans, coordinating execution, and managing budgets from conception through completion.
- Leverage data analytics (SQL, Excel) to set program objectives, identify improvement opportunities, and drive measurable performance metrics for carrier and partner operations.
- Navigate ambiguous business scenarios with structured problem-solving, identifying and mitigating risks before they escalate into major issues.
- Foster collaboration across internal teams and external partners (carriers, customs brokers, logistics providers) to optimize resource allocation and prioritize projects aligned with customer needs.
- Develop and oversee KPI reporting for a program portfolio, ensuring clear visibility of milestones, performance, and progress for senior leadership.
- Communicate status, risks, and process changes to senior managers and business leaders through executive presentations and business reviews.
A day in the life
As a Program Manager on the Cross Border Exports team, you'll develop optimized processes to handle export shipments to neighboring countries via ground shipping options. You'll create cost-effective, fast delivery services for international customers, ensuring seamless customs clearance and last-mile delivery. Your days will involve analyzing data to identify areas for improvement, developing action plans, and implementing process optimizations that enhance the customer experience

You'll approach complex challenges as opportunities to find innovative solutions - your work will be instrumental in making the world a smaller place, one package at a time.
About the team
The Amazon Global Logistics Exports team innovates, builds, and operates cross-border e-commerce shipping, fulfillment, and customs capabilities to enable global growth. Our goal is to make cross-border shipping as simple, fast, and reliable as domestic shipping for customers in over 190 countries across all seven continents. We're a data-driven group that thrives on continuous improvement

If you obsess over process optimization and want to shape the future of global logistics, we'd love to have you on board.
