Our client seeks an Technical Lead VOIP Integration Infrastructure for a 12 Months project in Jersey City, NJ . Below is the detailed requirement
Job Title: Technical Lead (VoIP Integration & Infrastructure)
Work location : Jersey City, NJ
Duration: 12 Months
Role Summary
Hands-on technical authority responsible for SBC routing/integration, SIP signaling and troubleshooting, and delivery of the combined mission: incident response enablement and STIR/SHAKEN operationalization, within a hybrid contact center environment (on-prem Genesys + Amazon Connect migration).
Required Qualifications
  • 10+ years telecom/VoIP engineering with deep SIP and call routing/interconnect expertise
  • Strong SBC experience; ability to interpret and troubleshoot SBC/CDR/SIP logs (Ribbon preferred)
  • Experience integrating telecom platforms with enterprise contact centers (Genesys and/or Amazon Connect)
  • Experience with external API integrations and multi-system troubleshooting across networks and vendors
  • Automation/config-as-code mindset (Terraform/Ansible/GitOps) and CI/CD familiarity

Preferred Qualifications
  • Hands-on experience with Ribbon SBC / PSX
  • Experience with carrier interconnects and call-signing patterns
  • Experience in STIR/SHAKEN, caller identity programs, or message-signing patterns
  • Familiarity with Amazon Connect voice/telephony integration patterns and/or Genesys SIP integrations
  • Cloud networking and container familiarity (Docker/K8s)

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead VoIP / SIP design and execution under approved architecture, including routing policy, header handling, and failover patterns
  • Implement and maintain SBC routing and policy configurations supporting secure call origination
  • Implement and support STIR/SHAKEN signing integration patterns, including non-signing paths and exception handling
  • Diagnose and resolve complex issues across SBC logs, CDRs, SIP traces, carriers, and contact center platforms (Genesys and Amazon Connect)
  • Build and maintain automation and repeatable tooling (configuration-as-code, scripted diagnostics, synthetic call/test harnesses)
  • Integrate with external telecom and security platforms via APIs
  • Partner with SRE to meet reliability and latency objectives and support production readiness/rollout execution
  • Provide L3/L4 escalation support and technical mentoring to operations engineers
