Job description

Amazon University Talent Acquisition (AUTA), science recruiting team is seeking talented recruiters that will support attracting and hiring Amazon's future scientists innovators, at scale, from student talent.
The ideal candidate must possess the ability to earn trust and influence key stakeholders autonomously, expertly plan and prioritize against customer targets, manage candidates within tight timelines, demonstrate a proven capacity to use metrics to drive and showcase results, and remain calm in high-volume, ambiguous environments. Thriving in a fast-paced setting and excelling at problem-solving will be critical to success in this role.
The best candidate will leverage their extensive knowledge of Talent Acquisition to forge dynamic relationships with business leaders, cross-functional partners, and the centralized Amazon University Talent Acquisition program teams.
In this role, you will:
• Partner with business and recruiting teams across Amazon to understand student hiring needs
• Build innovative strategies to attract, source, assess, and hire students for niche roles across Amazon
• Identify opportunities for improving candidate experience and scheduling efficiency
• Manage and track all candidate and campus information, consolidate and analyze results and make recommendations for improvements
• Develop strategies related to recruitment that will contribute to the long-range growth of the Amazon, implement new processes and develop standard operating procedures that fits within Amazon's mission to deliver the highest quality results to the customer.
Key job responsibilities
• Partner with full lifecycle recruiters, Industry hiring teams, and other stakeholders to build an on early career talent strategy.
• Manage customer expectations and business goals with bi-weekly business reviews metrics, and status updates to customers and stakeholders.
• Develop strategies related to recruitment that will contribute to the long-range growth of the Amazon, implement new processes and develop standard operating procedures that fits within Amazon's mission to deliver the highest quality results to the customer.
• Ability to develop a recruiting plan with deliverables, timelines, and a formal tracking process that scales.
• Participate in special projects or recruiting initiatives; pilots, process improvement projects, etc.
About the team
AUTA Science - AMER is an Amazon University Talent Acquisition recruitment delivery team specializing in the sourcing and hiring for Applied, Research, and Data Science job families for internship, postdoc and campus FTE at scale across all of Amazon. AUTA Science (formally known as the Graduate Research Team, GRT) formed in 2012 to enable innovation and further research by hiring domain experts into Applied, Research and Data Science roles.
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
- 5+ years of technical recruiting including full life cycle recruiting experience
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Experience and knowledge on candidates associated with top scientific publications from conferences. Deep domain expertise with a breadth of scientific disciplines including, but not limited to LLMs, CV, NLP, AR, Quantum, etc...

The base salary range for this position is listed below. Your Amazon package will include sign-on payments and restricted stock units (RSUs). Final compensation will be determined based on factors including experience, qualifications, and location.
