Job Title: Household Manager & Family Assistant (with Meal Prep Support)
Location: Stamford, CT (06903)
Employment Type: Part-Time; 20-25 hours/week (20 hours/week guaranteed); W2
Schedule: M-F, 3-4 days/week, flexible days/hours
Start Date: ASAP
Compensation: $35-40/hour, based on experience

Key Responsibilities:
Household Management & Organization
  • Create and maintain household organization systems
  • Perform daily resets and prepare the home for cleaning service
  • Daily tidying: load/unload dishwasher, wipe surfaces, vacuum high traffic areas, etc.
  • Manage seasonal swaps (clothing, décor, bedding)
  • Organize and coordinate donation drop-offs
  • Prepare for events, holidays, and guest visits
  • Handle packing, unpacking and organizing after travel
  • Indoor plant care
Meal Planning & Prep
  • Prepare grab-and-go breakfasts, lunches, and snacks 3-4x/week
  • Prepare protein-forward, healthy meals 3x/week
  • Prep school lunches 3x/week
  • Shop for groceries and meal-related items
  • Maintain dietary preferences and family nutrition needs
  • Clean kitchen post-prep and manage kitchen tidiness
Vendor & Property Oversight
  • Oversee cleaners, contractors, landscapers
  • Research and coordinate repairs and quotes
  • Seasonal property maintenance
  • Manage outdoor spaces, such as putting pool vacuum in pool 3x/week
  • Skimming pool occasionally
  • Water outdoor plants
Family Support & Child Assistance
  • Occasional assistance with pick-ups and drop-offs
  • Prep backpacks, clothing, snacks for camp/school
  • Kid-related errands
Inventory & Errands
  • Restock pantry, fridge, and household supplies
  • Manage running household supply lists
  • Manage household orders and subscriptions (Amazon/Costco/Target)
  • Returns, managing dry cleaning, gift shopping
  • Managing supply of gift items (bags, wrapping paper, etc.) and replenish when needed

Deep Cleaning & Special Projects

  • Letting dogs out in backyard for exercise
Vehicle Management
  • Occasional fueling and cleaning of vehicles
  • Awareness of registration/insurance
Administrative & Personal Assistance
  • Calendar management of household schedules
  • Collaborate with the Executive Assistant to manage travel logistics and arrangements
  • Manage scheduling of appointments across multiple generations, including grandparent, parents, and kids
  • Receipt/budget tracking for expenses incurred as house manager
