FRONT END ENGINEER SENIOR

MEANINGFUL WORK AND PERSONAL IMPACT

As a Front End Engineer Senior, the work you'll do at GDIT will be impactful to the mission of the customer. You will play a crucial role in enhancing section 508 accessibility of the current interface as well as redeveloping a new frontend to incorporate section 508 accessibility capabilities in a new user interface.

Role Responsibilities:


Support multiple tools to include a high-performance geospatial collaboration tool that provides a single repository for formal and informal finished products and a system for mission-critical published intelligence reports used by the Intelligence Community and partners around the world.
Collaborate with top tier teams
Drive 508 accessibility of the current interfaces as well as redeveloping a new frontend to incorporate section 508 accessibility capabilities in a new user interface.
WHAT YOU'LL NEED TO SUCCEED
Bring your engineering expertise along with a drive for innovation to GDIT. The Front End Engineer Senior must have:
Education: Bachelor of Arts/Bachelor of Science
Experience: 5+ years of related experience

Security clearance level: Active TS/SCI with Polygraph required
US citizenship required
Required Technical skills:

  • Java 8+

  • Understanding, maintaining, and troubleshooting interfaces between multiple applications

  • GWT

  • Angular

  • Primefaces

  • Quarkus

  • Advanced understanding of HTML, CSS, JavaScript

Additional desired technical skills may include experience with:

  • Proficiency with screen readers

  • 508/WAI-ARIA knowledge

  • Oracle

  • Amazon Web Services (AWS)

  • Agency reporting and dissemination tools

  • Agency classification policies

  • Working in an agile environment using JIRA and Confluence

The likely salary range for this position is $121,975 - $165,025. This is not, however, a guarantee of compensation or salary. Rather, salary will be set based on experience, geographic location and possibly contractual requirements and could fall outside of this range.
