Job Description

Compensation: $22.25/Hour

As a Delivery Associate at Outside the Box Logistics, LLC, you will play a crucial role in ensuring orders are delivered promptly while ensuring safety! You will start and end your day at Amazon Warehouse: DMD8

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Use handheld device provided for routing information and follow GPS, and customer delivery requests.
  • Use handheld device to record and update delivery progress.
  • Report on time each day to the Waldorf warehouse location with assigned uniform attire.
  • Be CUSTOMER FOCUSED! We strive to provide the best customer experience we can on each and every delivery and every interaction we have.
  • Lift packages up to 50 lbs. (hand truck is provided)
  • Work 10 plus hour shifts on a regular basis and be open to being on call as needed
  • Comply with all safety rules and work policies
  • Be positive and professional with other delivery associates and customers
  • Be ready to tackle challenges and solve problems to meet customer needs
  • Have good organizational skills and communications skills
  • Deliver a wide variety of packages, 200+ per day, involving leaving and entering the cargo van, sometimes climbing stairs
  • Load, unload, prepare and safely operate the cargo van in varying weather conditions (i.e. Rain/Snow/Sun/cold)
  • Ensure the cargo van is clean, fueled, and in good operating condition each day
  • Complete an inspection of the cargo van before and after scheduled route
  • Be able to operate and navigate a delivery van, weighing 10,000 lbs. or less (you do not need to provide your own vehicle)
Qualifications
  • Must be 21 years of age
  • Must have a valid Driver’s license (CDL is a plus)
  • Must be able to easily enter/exit vehicle multiple times a day, and climb stairs as needed
  • Must be eligible to work in the U.S
  • Must have a safe driving record
  • Must be able to lift and move packages weighing up to roughly 50 lbs. (hand trucks are provided)
  • Must have reliable transportation to and from work
  • Must follow all traffic laws and safety precautions, while operating a company cargo van
