Position Responsibilities:
Responsible for the overall operation and maintenance of all electrical, mechanical, and HVAC equipment within the data center. Act as Amazon's front line when it comes to hands-on electrical and mechanical equipment troubleshooting. Maintain, operate, and troubleshoot mission-critical data center facility equipment including electrical support equipment such as stand-by diesel generators and related fuel systems, 3 phase electrical systems that include but not limited to switchgear, UPS units, PDUs, and wet cell batteries and associated systems.
Position Requirements:
Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent in Engineering, Project Management, Construction Management, or a related field and three years of experience in the job offered or a related occupation. Employer will accept four years of experience in the job offered or a related occupation as equivalent to the Bachelor's degree and three years of experience. Must have one year of experience in the following skill(s): (1) experience in a management position with 5 or more direct reports; and (2) experience in a data center or other mission critical environment; (3) knowledge in UPS, Generators, HVAC, Evaporators and other critical infrastructure.
