Job description

Amazon's Brand Innovation Lab (BIL) is looking for a Senior UX Designer to lead advertising experiences across emerging technology. In this role, you will define how major brands connect with customers across the Amazon canvas, including mobile web/app, video, generative AI, and more.
You will drive end-to-end design strategy for complex, multi-platform campaigns. You'll lead through ambiguity on experimental projects, mentor designers, and influence the team's innovation roadmap

This role requires someone who thrives on variety. You'll rapidly switch between projects spanning different industries, brands, and technical platforms while maintaining strategic vision and execution excellence.
You'll collaborate with a global team of design technologists, creative teams and internal Amazon and agency partners to deliver experiences that millions of customers interact with daily.
Key job responsibilities
- Define and drive design strategy for complex, multi-platform advertising innovations across concurrent projects spanning various industries and brands
- Lead end-to-end UX design from discovery through delivery, including user research, concept development, interaction design, prototyping, and detailed specifications
- Build consensus among diverse stakeholders and disciplines, presenting design strategies and recommendations to brand teams and leadership
- Establish design standards and best practices for emerging technologies and platforms, driving design excellence across pods
- Lead research initiatives that inform BIL's innovation roadmap and ground design decisions in user insights, technical feasibility, and brand objectives
A day in the life
You might start your morning reviewing research findings for an automotive brand's Amazon showroom, then shift to leading a design critique for an interactive streaming campaign. After lunch, you're whiteboarding interaction flows with design technologists for an advertising campaign, followed by a stakeholder presentation where you advocate for a user-centered approach that balances brand goals with customer needs.
