We are looking for a talented attorney to join the Amazon Health Services legal team.

This role is a dynamic mix of transactional work, product counseling, complianceand regulatory advising. You will support foundational technology efforts, new business initiatives, and customer-facing products and services. In this role, you will take on diverse responsibilities including negotiating deals, advising on regulatory strategies, looking around corners to identify and mitigate critical legal and reputational risks, and developing mechanisms that allow our builder teams to move quickly and confidently.
Key job responsibilities
- Provide strategic legal counsel to senior business leaders on a broad range of legal and business matters


- Identify, assess, and manage legal risks across multiple business lines andjurisdictions.
- Develop and implement legal strategies that support businessobjectiveswhile mitigating risk.
- Adviseon regulatory compliance, corporate governance, and emerging legal issues.


- Draft and negotiate complex, commercial agreements.
- Lead cross-functional projects and collaborate with internal stakeholders at all levels.
- Contribute to the development of legal policies, processes, and best practices.
A day in the life
You will collaborate cross-functionallywith clinical, technology, compliance, riskand healthcare teams, diving into complex legal challenges that demand creative problem-solving

Expect to engage in strategic discussions about new product launches, analyze emerging regulatory developments, draft and negotiate commercial agreements, and develop innovative compliance frameworks that enable our teams to move quickly and confidently. You will balance multiple workstreams-from advising on AI-enabled workflows to reviewing a vendor agreement to counseling on state-specific regulatory requirements-all in service of our mission to make healthcare dramatically easier for customers.
