Job description

We are looking for a strategic Senior Manager of UX Design to lead our Delivery Service Provider (DSP) Experience Design team, which creates the digital products and tools that empower over 4,000 DSPs worldwide to successfully manage their delivery businesses. In this role, you will lead the design vision for critical systems including Cortex, the Delivery Service Portal (Logistics Portal), and other DSP-facing applications that enable DSPs to effectively run logistics companies and manage operations, personnel, and finances across Amazon's largest package delivery channel.
You will establish and drive the design strategy across key DSP operational areas: capacity planning and scheduling, fleet management, on-road execution monitoring, DA (Delivery Associate) hiring and onboarding, financial management, and business performance analytics. You'll partner closely with product and engineering leaders across DSP Product Tech to create seamless operational experiences that help DSPs thrive in the fast-paced package delivery business.
To be successful in this role, you must be an empathetic leader who can balance the needs of diverse user groups - from DSP owners and dispatchers to delivery associates - while maintaining a unified design vision that fosters a trustworthy DSP-Amazon partnership

You'll need a proven track record in coaching and mentoring designers, excel at solving complex operational and business management challenges, and demonstrate ability to transform ambiguity into clear direction. You will work with design leaders across Amazon to create strong partnerships and drive operational excellence through user-centered design.
Our team consists of highly specialized UX Designers, Visual Designers, Researchers, and Design Technologists, organized in People Centered Teams (PCTs) focused on specific user groups within the DSP ecosystem. As a Senior UX Design Manager, you will lead multiple teams of individual contributors, working across disciplines to support crucial DSP business management systems

You will be responsible for defining the end-to-end experience vision across the Logistics Portal and ensuring its delivery across all teams. You will champion design systems (including Meridian) that scale, drive operational efficiency for DSP partners, and create mechanisms to measure impact across our global delivery network.
Key job responsibilities
- Lead design strategy for DSP-facing products including Cortex (real-time route monitoring), Scheduling UI, Fleet Management (KITT), and other Logistics Portal applications
- Define and execute on Durable Customer Outcomes (DCOs) that help DSPs master operational efficiency and ensure daily on-road safety and success
- Collaborate with cross-functional partners in DSP Product Tech, EBT, and operations teams to deliver integrated experiences
- Build and mentor a team of designers focused on empowering small business owners to build sustainable logistics companies
- Establish design standards and patterns that work across web and mobile (PWA) experiences
- Drive user research initiatives to deeply understand DSP business needs and pain points
- Create scalable design systems and frameworks that support rapid feature development across the DSP product portfolio.
