Job description

Amazon WorkSpaces enables organizations to provide secure, managed cloud desktops and applications to their workforce anywhere in the world. Customers rely on WorkSpaces to support remote and hybrid work, VDI modernization, and secure access to corporate applications without the complexity and cost of traditional desktop infrastructure. WorkSpaces is now expanding into the frontier of agentic AI, providing cloud desktops for AI agents that need to operate enterprise applications autonomously.

We're looking for a General Product Marketing Manager to join the WorkSpaces Product Marketing team. This is an individual contributor role spanning three key marketing pillars: Content strategy, community development, and customer storytelling. You will own the content engine that keeps our partner, field, and web channels current and compelling, build and manage our customer story pipeline, and build community through events, social channels, and other forums.

WorkSpaces is backed by meaningful investment and senior executive visibility. This is a chance to shape the narrative for a category-leading cloud desktop service in the quickly evolving agentic enterprise space.
About the Role
As a General Product Marketing Manager for Amazon WorkSpaces, you will own three interconnected pillars that drive how WorkSpaces is known and trusted in the market:
Content strategy: You own the content engine for WorkSpaces updating existing content, coordinating new content development, and ensuring distribution across partner, field, and web channels.

You are the person who makes sure our story is current, compelling, and reaching the right audiences in the right places.
Community development: You build WorkSpaces' presence in the market through first-party and third-party conferences (including flagship re:Invent), securing speaking opportunities, and growing visibility where our customers and prospects engage.
Customer storytelling: You fill and manage the customer story pipeline identifying advocates, shepherding their stories from interview through publication, and integrating customer proof points into outbound content plans across every channel.

You will partner cross-functionally with product management, sales, partner marketing, field teams, and creative to ensure WorkSpaces has a consistent, high-quality presence everywhere customers engage.
Key job responsibilities
Content
Own the WorkSpaces content calendar and ensure all content assets are current, accurate, and aligned to the latest product positioning and launches.
Coordinate new content development-including whitepapers, blog posts, solution briefs, web pages, and sales enablement materials-from concept through publication.

Ensure content is distributed and activated across partner channels, field teams, and web properties (aws.amazon.com, partner portals, sales hubs).
Partner with web content, campaigns, demand generation, and partner marketing teams to integrate WorkSpaces content into broader go-to-market initiatives.
Community
Own the first-party and third-party event strategy for WorkSpaces, including event selection, messaging, content, and execution planning

Lead WorkSpaces' presence at re:Invent driving session proposals, demo content, booth experiences, chalk talks, and executive customer engagements.
Identify and secure speaking opportunities at industry events where WorkSpaces customers and prospects engage (e.g., Gartner DEX, EUC conferences, partner events).
Grow WorkSpaces' market presence through social engagement, ecosystem participation, and community-building with customers and partners

Customer
Identify and develop relationships with customers who have transformed their organizations with WorkSpaces. Understand their journey, quantify their impact, and craft narratives that resonate across audiences.
Build and maintain a pipeline of customer advocates and reference accounts.

Work with customer success and sales teams to identify high-impact stories and secure customer participation.
Shepherd customer stories through the full lifecycle-from identification and interview through legal approval, production, and publication-and integrate them into outbound content plans.
Define the customer storytelling roadmap, aligning stories to product launches, campaigns, and market moments where social proof will have maximum impact.

Why This Role is Different
WorkSpaces is the category leader in cloud desktops, trusted by the world's most security-conscious organizations. Unlike point solutions, WorkSpaces spans the full spectrum-from individual knowledge workers to enterprise-wide deployments of tens of thousands of desktops, and now into the frontier of AI agents that need secure, flexible, and scalable compute environments. The stories you tell will range from IT transformation at global enterprises to individual productivity wins, giving you narrative range across executive-level impact stories and hands-on user experiences.

This role gives you ownership across three high-impact areas rather than a single narrow swim lane. You will shape how WorkSpaces shows up at re:Invent, what customers say about us, and what content reaches the field every day. This comes with meaningful investment, senior leadership visibility, and the opportunity to define the go-to-market motion for a product that enterprises depend on.
