An associate job at Amazon typically involves performing warehouse or fulfillment center tasks such as picking, packing, and shipping customer orders. These roles often require physical activity, attention to detail, and the ability to operate equipment like scanners and forklifts, with shifts usually scheduled in various shifts including nights and weekends.

What are Amazon Associates?

Amazon Associates are members of Amazon's affiliate marketing program, which allows individuals and businesses to earn commissions by promoting Amazon products on their websites, blogs, or social media channels. Associates may be required to stand for extended periods, manage repetitive tasks, and collaborate with diverse team members to ensure efficient workflow. Staying organized, maintaining open communication with supervisors, and utilizing available ergonomic resources can help manage these challenges effectively. Additionally, Amazon provides training and support to help associates adapt and succeed in their roles.

Do Amazon workers get $23 an hour?

Amazon associates typically earn around $15 to $20 per hour, depending on location, experience, and shift. Some roles or locations may offer higher wages, but $23 an hour is above the average starting pay for most Amazon warehouse positions.
