Key Responsibilities:

  1. Ability to setup and run CNC rotary tube bending machines such as Soco, Eagle or Addison with limited supervision.
  2. Set-up and operate CNC rotary draw bending machine while conforming to manufacturing tolerances
  3. Set-up and switch tooling of CNC rotary draw bending machine (Bend Di, Clamp Di, Wiper Di, Pressure Di, Mandrel, Collette, Stop Blocks)
  4. Program new post bends into CNC bending machine
  5. Ensure all tube assemblies meet strict quality and compliance standards
  6. Checking drawings to work orders to ensure correct quantity of posts are bent and put out for job
  7. Can work effectively with cross-functional departments as need
  8. Conduct quality inspections using appropriate quality measurement tools (calipers, taps, angles)
  9. Maintenance of tooling and equipment


Requirements

  • Ability to work in a safe and professional manner while adhering to all safety and regulatory requirements.
  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Experience tube bending parts
  • Strong understanding of basic math including decimals, fractions and metric system
  • Proficient in English to communicate with fellow employees and follow work instructions
  • Ability to use the required hand tools, power tools, and cutting machines in the assembly process
  • Can effectively use measuring instruments such as a tape measure
  • Detail oriented with large emphasis on accuracy
  • Ability to work in high pressure situations under deadlines


Preferred Skills and Experience:

  • Experience working with Stainless Steel Tubes (thin-walled and thick-walled tubing)
  • Well versed in manufacturing of complex tube assemblies
  • Experience with 3D tube bends
  • Certified Production Technician (NCMIT graduate) preferred
