Job description

Job Overview The Investment Manager Services Division (IMS) at SEI is expanding its Alternative Investment Funds accounting team. This role involves providing accounting and administrative services for hedge and private equity funds, acting as the intermediary between the funds and their investment managers, and serving as the official record keeper. Responsibilities Price and maintain timely records for hedge and private equity holdings using external pricing resources. Perform timely reconciliations of Net Asset Values and prepare accounting reports. Communicate transactions and deliver accurate accounting packages to clients. Coordinate and support year‐end audit engagements in accordance with GAAP. Conduct due‐diligence to ensure compliance with government laws and regulations. Correspond with external investment managers about fund inquiries, fee payments, cash positions, and reconciliations. Provide client engagement and quality service, supporting clients via email and/or phone calls. Qualifications BA/BS in Accounting, Finance, Economics, Mathematics, or equivalent work experience. Internship experience preferred. Intermediate skills in Microsoft Excel. Self‐motivation and drive to monitor multiple client deliverables while maintaining quality. Strong written and verbal communication skills. Strong customer service skills and ability to engage internal and external stakeholders. Preferred Qualifications Drive to broaden knowledge of the financial services industry and apply new concepts and systems. Collaboration with internal and external stakeholders and flexibility to adapt to client needs. Positive, collegial approach in assisting colleagues and clients.
