Supervisor - Production Manufacturing
Altec AIR is in need of a Production Supervisor reporting to the Production Manager in Broomfield, Colorado.
The Altec AIR Production Supervisor will serve a critical role by leading us to a future state in which our internal and external customers recognize our outstanding quality and see us as the preferred provider in all markets we serve. The ideal candidate is one who is passionate about supervising a team that produces quality products and is excited about the opportunity to elevate the state of Altec AIR's manufacturing processes.
If you enjoy supervising the daily activities of production to ensure that volume, cost, and quality standards are achieved this is the place for you!
If you like to be challenged at work in areas where coordinating schedules, staffing requirements, and production sequences to maximize productivity, then Altec AIR is the place to be!

Salary range starting at $71,300 to $81,200 (wage may be adjusted commensurate upon work experience).
The job level is able to be adjusted at time of hire, if the candidate meets the qualifications for jobs of a more experienced level in the career path.

Responsibilities:
  • Supervise the assigned area's staffing, including overall headcount and vacation approvals
  • Communicate and enforce company policies and procedures consistently and accurately
  • Hold associates accountable for work quality and performance through regular feedback and annual performance reviews
  • Facilitate the disciplinary action process
  • Ensure associates complete training for successful execution of their job
  • Confirm associate time records and attendance
  • Facilitate and assist in problem solving and scheduling with associates and support teams to certify products/services meet quality standards and customer delivery schedules
  • Organize modifications and revisions to work
  • Schedule job assignments and production, including overtime when necessary
  • Interact with customers and suppliers as needed
  • Maintain safety, quality, and delivery records within applicable business unit system
  • Coordinate with internal and external suppliers to support operations' needs
  • Monitor and recommend repairs to location's physical assets and equipment
  • Continually improve safety record by addressing both physical safety issues and associate's safety compliance
  • Plan, participate and support continuous improvement activities
  • Monitor and maintain 5S programs for area of responsibility
  • All other duties as assigned

Qualifications:
  • High School Diploma required
  • Bachelor's Degree required, or
  • Four year industry related experience, or
  • One-year Altec Group Lead (or internal equivalent) required
  • Problem solving and troubleshooting skills required
  • General PC skills required
  • Excellent communication skills required
  • Must be able to work with team members and work with minimal supervision
  • Current valid Driver's License may be required
  • Ability to read and interpret required manuals, prints and schematics preferred
