Job description

Starting Pay: $21 - $24/hour, depending on experience, plus shift differentials

Schedule: Tuesday - Saturday 2:30 pm - 11 pm

As a Care Counselor, you’ll play an integral role in supporting clients throughout their recovery journey while working alongside therapists, dietitians, nurses, and interdisciplinary care teams to create a safe, compassionate, recovery-focused environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support client safety, emotional wellbeing, and daily recoveryfocused care
  • Monitor client progress, behavioral observations, and documentation while communicating changes to the interdisciplinary care team
  • Provide 1:1 support and assist clients during moments of distress or crisis
  • Support meal and snack supervision as part of recoveryfocused treatment
  • Help maintain a safe, structured, and supportive healing environment
  • Transport clients to approved appointments or outings as needed
  • Qualifications
  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • Valid driver’s license with acceptable driving record required
  • Behavioral health experience preferred
  • Current CPR/AED certification (or ability to obtain within 30 days)
