What You'll Do

  • Influence product design by representing the voice of the customer, including design-for-service, design-for-manufacturability, and preventive maintenance considerations
  • Own the first build and test of new products in the development lab, providing real-time feedback, identifying issues, and recommending solutions
  • Develop and document best-known methods for service, preventive maintenance, and corrective maintenance
  • Lead First-in-Fab (Alpha and Beta) customer deployments, including fab readiness, installation, startup, and production qualification
  • Drive resolution of customer issues during Alpha and Beta phases, acting as the primary technical owner for new product performance in the field
  • Produce detailed reporting on field issues to support continuous product improvement
  • Define critical spare parts lists and ensure initial stocking levels are ready for new product launches

What You Bring
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or Chemical Engineering
  • Hands-on experience (academic or professional) with hardware systems
  • Strong technical troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
  • High curiosity, motivation, and enthusiasm for learning new technologies
  • A passion for working with new products, testing them, and becoming a true system-level expert
  • Coursework or interest in Arduino or open-source electronic prototyping platforms is a plus
  • Willingness and ability to travel 25-75% domestically and internationally
