Job description

Ally Behavior is a full-time, center-based, early intervention Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) therapy program, serving children with autism ranging from 18 months to 6 years of age. Our mission is to deliver the highest quality therapy to help our early learners reach their potential to communicate, improve social skills, and prepare for academic success. The children we serve are at the heart of everything we do and we are passionate about our commitment to having a meaningful impact in the lives of our children and their families.
Job Summary:
To facilitate collaboration of care and superior treatment outcomes for our young learners, we currently have an opening for an Occupational Therapist (OT). Our center-based program delivers intensive early intervention for young children with autism. Each child receives 1-on-1 ABA therapy delivered by a technician and overseen by a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) through the day. Most of our learners require Occupational Therapy in addition to ABA and Speech Therapy. We are looking for an energetic, motivated individual to provide high quality Occupational Therapy, collaborate with our clinicians on case management, and help our learners maximize their potential.

Our comprehensive onboarding and training approach will support and prepare you to provide the best possible therapy to our clients!
Your Day-to-Day Responsibilities:
  • Carry a client caseload, size dependent on hours worked
  • Complete parent training with each client on their caseload once per quarter
  • Complete a parent training following an evaluation or reevaluation within one month.
  • Meet the billable hour expectations, prorated from our full-time expectation based on hours worked
  • Collaborate with Speech Language Pathologists and Board Certified Behavior Analysts to coordinate the therapy of shared clients
  • Attend team meetings as scheduled
  • Maintain strict client confidentiality following HIPAA protocol
  • Maintain open communication with families and clinical teams to ensure the most effective treatment and goals
  • Due to the nature of working with young children, all clinical staff are required to change diapers, assist with toileting, and be able to physically work on the floor with children

Experiential & Certification Requirements:
  • Master's or Doctorate Degree in Occupational Therapy required
  • Current and active Occupational Therapy licensure in the state(s) of hire
  • Current certification by the National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy (NBCOT)
  • Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
  • Experience with early intervention and working with children with autism
  • Reliable transportation and a valid driver's license
  • Must submit to a federal, state, and county background check

Physical Requirements:
  • Ability to sit on the floor, kneel, crawl, squat, run or stand for extended periods of time
  • Ability to reach and hold objects
  • Ability to lift 30 pounds
