PersonalSupport Specialist:
Under the direction of the Residential Care Director thePersonal Support Specialist ( PSS ) provides care thatmeets the physical and psychosocial needs of residents according to theresidents' functional assessment, service plan, and as directed by theSupervisor. The care is delivered in a manner that highlights each resident'sabilities, preserves dignity and enhances quality of life.
CertifiedResidential Medication Assistant:
The Certified Residential Care Medication Aide ( CRMA ) administers medications and treatments to residents as orderedby the physician under the direction of the Residential Care Director. Theadministration of medications shall be in accordance with established nursingstandards, the policies, procedures, and practices of the facility and therequirements of the state of Maine.
CertifiedNursing Assistant:
The Certified Nursing Assistant ( CNA ) isa nursing team member who provides assigned residents with routine dailynursing care and services in accordance with the residents' assessment and Planof Care and as may be directed by the Supervisor.
Qualifications:
  • Either a PSS , CRMA, or CNA certification is also required
  • High School graduate or GED equivalent
  • Experience in a residential care or nursinghome environment or work / volunteer experience with the elderly preferred
