Job description

As a Part-Time Licensed Receptionist at Allstate Insurance Agency, you will be the first point of contact for our clients and visitors. Your role is crucial in ensuring that our office operates smoothly and efficiently. You will assist with various administrative tasks, answer phone calls, schedule appointments, and provide exceptional customer service.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Greet clients and visitors with a warm and welcoming demeanor
  • Answer and direct phone calls to appropriate team members
  • Perform simple endorsements for customers
  • Accept and process payments for customers
  • Schedule and confirm appointments
  • Manage and organize office files and documents
  • Assist with general administrative duties such as data entry, filing, and mail handling
  • Maintain a clean and organized reception area
  • Provide information and assistance to clients with their inquiries
  • Support the team with additional tasks as needed

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Property and Casualty licensed preferred
  • Previous Allstate experience preferred; not required
  • Previous receptionist or administrative experience preferred
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong organizational and multitasking abilities
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook)
