Job description

Marketing Manager
Rapid Roofing | Ypsilanti, MI
$60,000-$70,000 per year
Full-Time | Monday-Friday | 9:00 AM-5:00 PM
Own the Marketing Engine
Rapid Roofing is looking for a hands-on Marketing Manager to lead our local marketing, brand awareness, and lead-generation efforts throughout Southeast Michigan.
This is an opportunity to take ownership of an established marketing program, improve what is already working, and introduce new campaigns that produce measurable business results.
You will work directly with company leadership and have the autonomy to plan campaigns, create content, coordinate agency and vendor partners, analyze performance, and strengthen Rapid Roofing's presence in the communities we serve.
About Rapid Roofing
For more than 25 years, Rapid Roofing has helped Southeast Michigan homeowners improve and protect their homes through roofing, windows, siding, gutters, and entry doors.
We combine the reputation and customer focus of a locally operated company with the resources, expertise, and growth opportunities available through Allstar Services, a national network of leading home improvement brands.
What You Will Own
Lead Generation and Campaign Performance
  • Build and manage the monthly marketing calendar.
  • Plan and execute promotions and lead-generation campaigns.
  • Coordinate Google Ads, Local Services Ads, paid social media, direct mail, streaming media, lead aggregators, and other advertising channels.
  • Work with agency and vendor partners while maintaining ownership of results.
  • Track lead sources, cost per lead, conversion performance, marketing ROI, and overall campaign effectiveness.
  • Provide clear weekly and monthly performance reports to leadership.
  • Recommend changes based on data, not assumptions.

Brand, Social Media and Content
  • Manage Rapid Roofing's presence across Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, YouTube, and Google Business Profile.
  • Capture photos and video from completed projects, company events, employees, and community activities.
  • Create graphics, advertisements, flyers, social content, and marketing collateral using Canva, Adobe Creative Suite, or similar tools.
  • Maintain a consistent and professional brand across every customer-facing channel.
  • Help generate customer reviews, referrals, and useful homeowner content.

Community Marketing and Events
  • Coordinate home shows, trade shows, sponsorships, and community events.
  • Build relationships with local organizations, referral partners, and vendors.
  • Identify opportunities to increase Rapid Roofing's visibility throughout Southeast Michigan.
  • Support promotional campaigns before, during, and after events.

Marketing Operations
  • Coordinate email marketing campaigns and customer communications.
  • Maintain website promotions and basic website content.
  • Manage vendor marketing portals and available co-op marketing funds.
  • Keep offers and promotions consistent across digital, print, social, and in-person channels.
  • Organize marketing assets, campaign documentation, and reporting.

What Success Looks Like
Within your first year, you will have:
  • Established a consistent campaign and content calendar.
  • Improved visibility into lead sources, campaign costs, conversion rates, and ROI.
  • Increased the consistency and quality of Rapid Roofing's digital content.
  • Strengthened coordination between leadership, sales, agency partners, and marketing vendors.
  • Identified practical opportunities to generate more qualified homeowner leads.
  • Built a repeatable marketing process that can support continued company growth.

Required Qualifications
  • At least three years of professional marketing experience.
  • Experience independently managing campaigns from planning through execution and reporting.
  • Understanding of digital marketing, lead generation, and performance measurement.
  • Hands-on experience creating marketing content using Canva, Adobe Creative Suite, or comparable tools.
  • Experience managing social media and maintaining brand consistency.
  • Strong writing, communication, organization, and project-management skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple campaigns and deadlines with limited day-to-day supervision.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office, Excel, Outlook, and marketing technology.
  • Ability to work from the Ypsilanti area and occasionally attend local project sites, events, and community activities.

Preferred Experience
Experience in one or more of the following areas is strongly preferred:
  • Roofing, home improvement, construction, or residential services
  • Marketing for a local or multi-location service business
  • Google Ads and Local Services Ads
  • Meta Business Suite
  • Google Business Profile
  • CRM and lead-tracking systems
  • Email marketing
  • Direct mail
  • Vendor co-op programs
  • Photography and video content
  • Basic website content management

Who Will Thrive Here
You may be a strong fit if you:
  • Take initiative without waiting for constant direction.
  • Enjoy both strategic planning and hands-on execution.
  • Use data to determine what is working.
  • Can move between creative projects, campaign reporting, events, and vendor coordination.
  • Bring new ideas while respecting the strategies that already produce results.
  • Are comfortable being accountable for deadlines and marketing outcomes.
  • Want your work to have a visible impact on company growth.

Compensation and Benefits
  • $60,000-$70,000 annual salary, based on experience
  • Consistent Monday-Friday schedule
  • Medical, dental, and vision insurance for eligible employees
  • 401(k) with company matching contributions
  • Paid holidays
  • Flexible time off for eligible salaried employees
  • Employer-paid basic life and AD&D insurance
  • Employee assistance and additional voluntary benefit programs
  • Direct access to company leadership
  • Professional growth opportunities across a growing network of home improvement companies

Benefit eligibility and plan details are governed by applicable company plan documents and policies.
Why Join Rapid Roofing?
This is not a role where your ideas disappear into layers of approval.
You will have direct access to leadership, ownership of the day-to-day marketing function, and the ability to see how your campaigns influence leads, sales, brand awareness, and company growth.
You will join an established and respected Southeast Michigan company while gaining access to the resources and opportunities of a growing national organization.
Apply today with your resume. Qualified candidates should be prepared to discuss a marketing campaign they personally managed and the results it produced.
