Allocator Apparel Jobs (NOW HIRING)

Veronica Beard is looking for a Planner to support the Apparel Planning Manager in developing and implementing strong merchandise strategies and inventory plans for our Denim department. These strategies will support continued sales growth and ensure margin and sell-through targets are achieved. The Planner will exhibit flexibility and adaptability and support a team-oriented, collaborative environment. The Planner will work cross-functionally with Merchandising, Retail, Digital/Ecommerce, Logistics, Wholesale, Production, Design and PR. This role is based in our NYC corporate office (4 days in office/1 day remote).

• Weekly reporting and comparative analysis of Veronica Beard Jeans sales performance by channel, location, classification, and style to understand nuances by channel and identify opportunities and / or risks for the business.
• Re-forecast OTB monthly for Veronica Beard Jeans department. Share receipt targets with Allocator(s) and proactively recommend RTVs / promos / markdowns / transfers as needed to maintain healthy inventory levels for Ecommerce and 50+ retail locations. Utilize forecast to build seasonal receipt plans in preparation for market.
• Manage markdown pricing by country to maximize sell-through and profitability through final markdown, factoring in additional promos as warranted by the business.
• Review and approve initial allocation and weekly replenishment in partnership with Allocation & Merchandising teams to tie back to receipt targets aligned on during monthly OTB meetings.
• Create assortment and SKU count plans by classification that tie back to seasonal receipt plans for Ecommerce and 50+ retail stores in preparation for market. Assist Apparel Planning Manager and Merchandising team counterpart(s) in determining style rankings and depth investments by channel and style / color / wash / fit during market.
• Assist in further development of processes and best practices to improve efficiencies and streamline workflow. Work closely with other members of the Planning team to onboard and train new hires to facilitate the continued growth of the team.

• Bachelor’s Degree
• 5-7 years of experience in planning, merchandising, and/or buying
• Advanced Excel skills
• Comprehensive understanding of retail math
• Strong analytical, planning, and forecasting skills
• Detail oriented, organized, and able to multi-task
• Ability to take initiative and be accountable

The base salary range for this role is between $100,000 and $110,000. The relevant base salary will vary depending on wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions, including but not limited to, skill sets, experience, training, degrees, and certifications.
