Role Description

The Scheduling Manager is a full-time, on-site role based in the Salt Lake City Metropolitan Area. This position is responsible for developing, maintaining, and optimizing project and production schedules to support on-time, on-budget delivery. Day-to-day tasks include coordinating with project managers and stakeholders to gather schedule requirements, updating timelines and resource allocations, and monitoring progress against milestones. The Scheduling Manager will analyze schedule performance, identify variances and risks, and propose corrective actions to keep projects on track. This role also involves preparing schedule reports, communicating status updates to leadership and project teams, and contributing to continuous improvement of planning and scheduling processes.

Qualifications
  • Candidates should possess strong Production Planning and Scheduling skills to manage complex project timelines and resource allocations.
  • Candidates should possess solid Analytical Skills and Planning capabilities to evaluate project data, anticipate risks, and optimize schedules.
  • Candidates should possess effective Communication skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams and present schedule information clearly.
  • Experience with project management or scheduling software (e.g., Primavera P6, MS Project, or similar tools) is highly beneficial.
  • Schedule Risk Management including risk modeling through Monte Carlo quantitative risk anakysis (QRA).
  • Relevant experience in construction, engineering, or large-scale project environments is preferred.
  • Visualization of schedule data through Power BI
  • Bachelorโ€™s degree in engineering, construction management, business, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
  • Demonstrated ability to work on-site, manage multiple priorities, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
