As a Security Officer Flex - Bank Protection in Harrisburg, PA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries. Join a leading team where flexibility meets opportunity. Job Schedule:
  • *Must be available to work ALL SHIFTS AND ALL DAYS OF THE WEEK*

What You'll Do:
  • Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and staff by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies at your assigned site/s.
  • Monitor access points to help to deter unauthorized entry and maintain a secure environment within the site premises.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following Allied Universal guidelines.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols around the site and its perimeter to help to deter suspicious activity and identify potential issues.
  • Assist with emergency response activities as needed, in accordance with site procedures and Allied Universal protocols.
  • Observe and report any security-related incidents, hazards, or unusual activity to the appropriate personnel.
  • Maintain a visible presence throughout the location to help to deter theft, vandalism, and/or other unwanted behavior.

Minimum Requirements:
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • Minimum of 6 months of verifiable security experience or the equivalent.
  • Comfortable using computer or tablet.
  • Customer service experience.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
