Job description

Admissions Directors: Apply Now for Our Opening at Alliance Health at Braintree

Alliance Health at Braintree is a 5 Star CMS Rated Skilled Nursing & Rehabilitation facility with a highly active short-term rehabilitation program and strong long-term care services. The Admissions Director plays a critical role in supporting both clinical and census growth needs in this fast-paced environment.

This position is responsible for managing all admissions from a variety of referral sources, with a strong focus on supporting short-term rehab and long term care admissions, and assuring smooth transitions into the facility. The Admissions Director also serves as a key leader in business development and marketing efforts within the local community, building and maintaining relationships with hospitals, referral partners, and families.

Additional responsibilities include conducting facility tours with prospective residents and families, supporting census development initiatives, and ensuring all admission agreement paperwork is completed accurately and efficiently. This role works closely with the Executive Director, department leaders, and the Central Admissions Team to support operational goals and ensure a seamless, welcoming admission experience.

Key Responsibilities

Admissions & Clinical Coordination

Admit, transfer, and discharge residents in accordance with established policies, procedures, and regulations

Maintain a referral log and track all incoming referrals

Coordinate with families, referral sources and the Central Admissions team to support timely and appropriate admissions

Marketing & Community Relations

Assist in the development and implementation of public relations and marketing initiatives

Support the Executive Director in executing the facility marketing plan

Promote and help coordinate media coverage and outreach programs in accordance with facility policy

Build and maintain strong relationships with referral partners and community stakeholders

Administrative & Financial Oversight

Monitor and report advertising and promotional expenses as requested by the Executive Director

Support administrative tasks related to admissions and census development efforts

Qualifications

Ability to access and coordinate admissions from multiple referral sources

Bachelor’s degree preferred (healthcare, nursing, or social work focus preferred but not required)

Current Massachusetts RN, LPN, LSW, LCSW, or LICSW license strongly preferred but not required

Minimum of one year of experience in long-term care or sub-acute care preferred

Strong communication skills with residents, families, physicians, staff, and external partners

Ability to meet the physical and ergonomic demands of the role, with regular and consistent attendance required
