Pay: Starting at $55.68 per hour
Location: In-Home / Community-Based in Fort Wayne, New Haven, and Woodburn, Indiana and throughout Allen County
Preferred Availability: daytime, after school hours, and weekends

Overview:
Behavioral Consultants contracted with Achieve Behavior Alliance Plus, LLC provide evidence-based behavioral support to individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities. This is a contracted position, and we are intentionally building a network of independent clinicians who value flexibility, autonomy, and collaborative, team-based care.
Behavioral Consultants at Achieve complete functional assessments, develop practical behavior support strategies, and work closely with families and support teams to improve quality of life. Services are delivered primarily in home and community-based settings, with a focus on real-world application and sustainable outcomes.
Behavioral Consultants provide services under an Independent Contractor Agreement and are not employees of Achieve Behavior Alliance Plus, LLC. Achieve will not provide insurance coverage of any kind for the benefit of the Contractor, including but not limited to Worker's Compensation, Unemployment, or other insurance.
Services:
Behavioral Consultants may provide services including, but not limited to:
ยท Completion of Functional Behavior Assessments (FBAs) and ongoing behavioral evaluation
ยท Teach and coach caregivers, direct care staff, and team members on behavior support plan strategies and interventions
ยท Development, implementation, and revision of Behavior Support Plans (BSPs) in alignment with the Person-Centered Individualized Support Plan (PCISP)
ยท Identification of the function of behavior
ยท Training and consultation with caregivers, direct support staff, and team members to ensure consistency across environments
ยท Ongoing data review, progress monitoring, and outcome-based recommendations
ยท Collaboration with case managers, waiver providers, therapists, and other interdisciplinary team members
ยท Documentation and reporting in compliance with BDDS waiver standards, timelines, and billing requirements

Requirements:

ยท CPR & First Aid Certificate
ยท Negative TB test prior to providing services to clients
ยท Clean background check
ยท Masterโs degree in Psychology, Applied Behavior Analysis, Special Education, Social Work, or related field
ยท Professional Liability Insurance
ยท Valid Driver's License
ยท Active Auto Insurance appropriate for driving associated with this position
Qualifications:
ยท Must be 18 years of age or older
ยท Reliable transportation to and from clients location
ยท Must not be excluded from receiving federal payments for providing healthcare services (Office of Inspector General List of Excluded Individuals and Entities database)
ยท Must not be excluded from federal healthcare programs (System for Award Management (SAM))
ยท Strong written and verbal communication skills
ยท Experience conducting Functional Behavior Assessments and writing Behavior Support PlansAbility to work independently and with a team
ยท Access to electronic devices with access to internet
ยท Experience working with individuals (children and/or adults) with developmental disabilities, intellectual disabilities, and/or Autism
ยท Familiarity working with an electronic health/medical record system (EHR/EMR)
ยท Familiarity with Google Workspace
ยท Experience working as a Behavioral Consultant
ยท Working knowledge of HIPAA privacy and security standards
