Job description

Currently Hiring: 1st Shift General Maintenance Tech 

Schedule: Monday - Friday

The general maintenance technician performs routine facility upkeep and minor repair tasks to maintain building condition and appearance. 

Functional responsibilities:

  • Execute, track, and complete work orders in a timely manner
  • Perform scheduled preventive maintenance activities to include HVAC, Plumbing, electrical and mechanical equipment
  • Wall patching and painting
  • Drywall repair
  • Caulking and sealing
  • Door hardware and door jamb 
  • Ceiling tile replacement
  • Minor carpentry
  • Basic plumbing fixture adjustments (non-licensed scope)
  • Minor electrical fixture replacement (within licensed capability)
  • Supervise external contractors for specialized services
  • Routine building upkeep tasks

This position does not have responsibility for structural repairs, renovations, capital improvements, or code-driven upgrades.

  • Basic experience in facility maintenance, including minor repairs and troubleshooting.
  • Proficiency in MEP, system monitoring (BAS)
  • Ability to lift up to 20 lbs. and perform physically demanding tasks.
  • Strong attention to detail, especially regarding safety and equipment operations.
  • Basic understanding of safety regulations in a manufacturing environment.
  • Ability to follow instructions and work independently or as part of a team.
  • Reliable transportation and commitment to meeting project deadlines.
