About the Role:

The Shipping/Receiving Clerk plays a critical role in ensuring the smooth and efficient flow of goods into and out of the organization. This position is responsible for accurately processing incoming shipments, verifying the contents against purchase orders, and preparing outgoing shipments for delivery. The clerk will maintain detailed records of all shipping and receiving activities, ensuring compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements. By coordinating with warehouse staff, suppliers, and transportation providers, the Shipping/Receiving Clerk helps to minimize delays and maintain inventory accuracy. Ultimately, this role supports overall operational efficiency and customer satisfaction by managing the logistics of product movement with precision and care.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Basic computer skills, including familiarity with inventory management software or databases.
  • Ability to lift and move packages up to 50 pounds safely.
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Effective communication skills to interact with team members and external partners.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Previous experience in a shipping, receiving, or warehouse environment.
