DESCRIPTION
Not Your Average Joe's is hiring a General Manager! Experience managing a full service restaurant is required.
Job Overview:
As the General Manager of Not Your Average Joe's, you will oversee all aspects of the location. The hospitality, training, staffing, food quality, sanitation, and overall financial health of the restaurnant. Reporting to the Regional Director you will oversee all manager, chefs and hourly positions, providing leadership and ensuring the consistent execution of our quality standards, operating systems, procedures, philosophies, and culture. You will be the lead in local store marketing and ne responsible for the overall fincancial results of the restaurant. We are seeking a friendly, energetic, and team-oriented individual with a passion for making a difference in the hospitality industry.

Duties/Responsibilities:
  • Ensuring that our restaurant is fully and appropriately staffed at all times
  • Interviews, trains, counsels, and coaches staff
  • Ensures all training materials, development and schedules are being followed
  • Clearly communicating with all Team Members
  • Ensures a harassment-free environment for all Team Members
  • Manages and makes adjustments to labor on a shift-to-shift basis while ensuring we don't harm the Guest experience
  • Achieves budgeted sales and profit goals
  • Maintaining operational excellence so our restaurant is running efficiently and effectively
  • Ensuring that all laws, regulations, and guidelines are being followed
  • Creating a restaurant atmosphere that both patrons and employees enjoy
  • Various other tasks as needed

REQUIREMENTS
  • Previous experience as a restaurant manager
  • Extensive food and beverage knowledge, and the ability to remember and recall ingredients and dishes to inform customers and wait staff
  • Great leadership skills
  • Familiarity with restaurant management software
  • Demonstrated ability to coordinate a staff
  • Exhibits a neat, clean, and professional image at all times
  • Genuinely hospitable, warm, sensitive, and polite to our Guests
  • Excellent problem resolution/Guest recovery skills
  • Attention to detail/organized
  • Able to work while standing and moving at a rapid pace for 10 hours as the job requires
