We are seeking a detail-oriented Human Resources Specialist with Home Care experience to support our compliance and onboarding processes. This role is ideal for a self-motivated professional with strong administrative, organizational, and communication skills who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is looking to grow within an expanding organization.
The HR Specialist will be responsible for managing onboarding compliance for all applicants, from initial hire through orientation, ensuring all requirements are completed accurately and on time.
Key ResponsibilitiesManage the full new hire onboarding process, ensuring compliance with company and regulatory requirements
Work closely with the Director on all HR-related matters and gain exposure to broader HR functions
Collect, review, and process employment and new hire documentation
Ensure background checks are completed and properly verified
Enter and maintain a high volume of employee records in the HR database
Coordinate logistics for new hire orientations and employee training sessions
Prepare and maintain new employee files
Provide timely updates to candidates and new hires regarding application and job status
Serve as the primary point of contact for all candidate and new hire inquiries
Prior Home Care HR experience required
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to handle confidential and sensitive information professionally
Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail
Ability to manage multiple priorities in a deadline-driven environment
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite or similar software
Proficiency with HHAeXchange
