Title: Addiction Therapists in Maryland

Are you a licensed therapist in Maryland with a passion for helping individuals overcome substance abuse? Look no further, as All Day Medical Care Clinic is seeking an experienced Addiction Therapist to join our team. Location: Maryland (Gaithersburg, Columbia, Bethesda, Urbana, Silver Spring)

Responsibilities of Addiction Therapists:

  • Make a difference in patients' lives by helping them through their lowest and darkest points
  • Empower patients to reclaim their lives and achieve optimal health and well-being

·         Conduct initial assessments and develop individualized treatment plans for clients struggling with addiction, including those with a DUI charge.

·         Provide evidence-based addiction treatment modalities, including individual and group therapy sessions.

·         Maintain accurate and up-to-date clinical documentation in accordance with state and federal regulations.

·         Collaborate with clients' families, medical professionals, and other community resources to ensure comprehensive care.

·         Utilize strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively engage with clients and build trust in therapeutic relationships.

·         Provide education and counseling to clients on substance abuse, chemical dependency, process addiction, psychiatric illness, and treatment options.

 

Qualifications of Addiction Therapists in Maryland:

  • Master's degree in counseling, psychology, social work, or a related field
  • Licensed therapist in the state of Maryland (LPC, LCSW, LMFT, or other relevant licenses)
  • Knowledge of addiction treatment modalities and evidence-based practices
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Additional credentials or certifications, such as CADC, CSAC, CAC, LAC, LCDC, or CCMHC are desirable and may be considered.
