Summary
NCA is seeking a part-time Extended Care and All-Day Care Worker to assist in NCA's after school care as well as all-day care on non-school days for kindergarten through 8th grade. Use your creative capacity, ability to manage structured time, and positively impact God's young ones. Responsible for the safety and well-being of students and care staff in a high energy environment.
Requirements
Essential Functions
  • Builds relationships with students, parents, and staff
  • Assists with check in and check out protocol, including responding professionally on designated walkie talkies
  • Greets parents and responds to questions, discuss incidences, and provide other necessary information
  • Helps with snack time
  • Supervises and plays outside with groups of students
  • Leads indoor activities and games
  • Helps with reading and homework

Qualifications
  • Born again Christian walking faithfully with God, has a personal testimony, and lives a consecrated life devoted to Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior
  • One year childcare experience preferred
  • Enjoys working with children

Required Skills & Abilities
  • Has a positive can-do attitude
  • High energy and able to engage kids ages 5-14 years old
  • Ability to manage groups of students
