Job description

The Busser is responsible for providing the guest with a positive dining experience through excellent organization skills, professional and positive manner while assisting other team members maintain, clear and reset tables.


Main Responsibilities:

  • Provide excellent guest service according to expectations outlined in the training manual Maintain, clear and reset tables quickly and efficiently
  • Assist with delivery of bread and water service
  • Pre-bus and maintains tables, consistently throughout shift
  • Stock and maintain side stations
  • Stocks and maintain clean glassware, flatware and work areas throughout the restaurant
  • Stock and maintain linen pars and levels
  • Respond to guest requests in a clear and polite manner
  • Complete daily and weekly side work on a consistent and thorough basis
  • Assist other team members as necessary
  • Stock and maintain cleanliness of restrooms
  • Complete additional tasks as assigned by the management team
  • Keep management informed of any problems, complaints from guests or other team members
  • Follow all company policies as outlined in company handbook


Accountabilities:

  • Addresses all guests in a manner consistent with company standards in providing quality product and service
  • Takes all actions with the guest's best interest in mind, to build new business and avoid guest complaints
  • Adheres to all Busser expectations as defined in the training manual at 100%
