Job description

ALIGNMENT TECH

Starting wage $16 - $18 Depending on Experience. We will train.

Northwest Tire is a local regionally owned company who has been in business for over 45 years with experience in the automotive, commercial, and wholesale tires, and repair work. We have 25 locations serving the upper Midwest.

We are now hiring positions in passenger & light truck tires, commercial and truck & farm tires and in wholesale distribution. Tires are not our only specialty. We do general automotive & light truck repairs such as tire rotation, tire purchasing, oil & lube services, general repair on commercial medium trucks such as brakes, alignments, farm service calls, wheels, and rims. We have a wholesale division as well.

We employee over 300 employees

  • Retail Commercial centers (Automotive and Light Trucks)
  • Commercial Truck and Farm Centers (Implement and Off the road tires - OTR)
  • Wholesale distribution warehouses
  • Bandag Retread Truck Tire manufacturing centers

Applicant will be responsible for performing general maintenance including tire repair, tire rotation, tire mounting/dismounting, changing fluids as well as general shop duties assigned.

Experience preferred, but not necessary, we will train.

Most jobs are rotating Saturdays, No Sundays. Hours of operation may vary but are generally 7:30am - 5:30pm.

Job Qualifications for ALIGNMENT TECH

  • Ability to learn the alignment equipment and make accurate adjustments to vehicles.
  • Must be able to stand, walk bend and stretch on a regular basis.
  • Must be able to get in and out of customer vehicle.
  • Willing to do other shop work if alignment rack is not booked for appointments.
  • Must be a team player.
  • Must be at least 18 years of age.
