Position Overview
The Digitalization Coordinator supports the execution of the Production & Logistics (P&L) digitalization strategy by coordinating initiatives that enhance efficiency, standardization, AI-enabled automation, and data-driven decision making across operations.
This role operates at the intersection of business and IT, working closely with production facilities, corporate functions (Engineering, Purchasing, Logistics, Finance), and TRATON partners to deliver scalable digital and AI-enabled solutions.
The position is responsible for supporting digital roadmap development, leading business requirements activities, and ensuring effective coordination of digital projects from intake through deployment, aligned with enterprise governance and IT standards.
Responsibilities
Digital Project Coordination & Delivery
  • Coordinate execution of digitalization and AI-enabled initiatives across Production & Logistics
  • Track project progress, risks, and milestones to ensure timely delivery
  • Support deployment, validation, and adoption of new digital solutions

Business Requirements & Use Case Development
  • Gather, document, and refine business requirements (BRDs, process flows, use cases), including opportunities for AI-driven solutions
  • Partner with functional stakeholders to define problems, outcomes, success criteria, and appropriate AI use cases
  • Support development of business cases and value assessments
  • Roadmap Support & Prioritization
  • Support development and maintenance of the P&L digitalization and AI roadmap
  • Assist in evaluating and prioritizing digital and AI initiatives based on business value, risk, feasibility, and scalability
  • Ensure alignment with enterprise IT strategy and TRATON platform direction

IT Coordination
  • Act as a primary point of coordination between business stakeholders and IT teams
  • Support effort estimation, solution design alignment, and delivery coordination
  • Ensure adherence to IT governance, standards, and processes

Intake & Governance Management
  • Manage intake of new digital ideas and improvement requests from plants and functions
  • Maintain visibility to project pipeline, status, and prioritization
  • Support governance forums and decision-making processes

Plant & Cross-Functional Engagement
  • Interface directly with production facilities to capture operational needs
  • Collaborate with Engineering, Purchasing, and Supply Chain on cross-functional initiatives
  • Coordinate with TRATON partners to align on shared digital platforms and solutions

Minimum Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree and at least 1 year of applications analysis experience

  • Master's degree and no experience

OR
  • At least 3 years of applications analysis experience
