Job description

Territory Sales Manager (Clear Aligners)

Chicago, IL Area

A growing clear aligner company is hiring a Territory Sales Manager to expand its presence across the Chicagoland market.

This is a field sales role focused on opening new dental, orthodontic, and group practice accounts, growing case starts, and helping practices improve clear aligner adoption and patient conversion. The right person will own the territory, build strong relationships with doctors and practice teams, and drive growth through education, follow-up, and consistent account development.

This opportunity is a strong fit for a dental sales professional who enjoys being in the field, creating new business, managing existing accounts, and helping practices grow through a doctor-led clear aligner system.

Key Responsibilities

  • Build and grow relationships with orthodontists, dentists, treatment coordinators, group practices, DSOs, and practice leaders across the Chicagoland territory
  • Develop and execute a territory sales plan focused on new account growth, product adoption, case starts, and revenue targets
  • Prospect, open, and develop new dental and orthodontic accounts with strong growth potential
  • Support existing accounts by increasing product adoption, case volume, patient conversion, and long-term engagement
  • Use a consultative sales approach to help practices understand the value of clear aligner treatment and where it fits within their patient base
  • Educate doctors and teams on product features, treatment applications, workflow, patient communication, and best practices
  • Lead product demonstrations, lunch-and-learns, training sessions, and account meetings
  • Establish a strong referral and account network with doctors, treatment coordinators, and office teams
  • Stay current on clear aligner trends, orthodontic technology, competitor activity, and territory opportunities
  • Track sales activity, pipeline, account updates, customer feedback, and sales performance
  • Meet or exceed sales targets while growing revenue and market share
  • Partner with marketing, clinical, support, and leadership teams to create a strong customer experience

Qualifications

  • 2+ years of sales experience, ideally selling into dental, orthodontics, clear aligners, or dental technology
  • Clear aligner experience is strongly preferred
  • Experience selling to orthodontists, dentists, treatment coordinators, group practices, or DSOs is a strong asset
  • Strong communication, presentation, and relationship-building skills
  • Comfortable educating customers, asking strong questions, and guiding practices through change
  • Proven ability to grow a territory, manage multiple accounts, and hit sales targets
  • Organized, self-motivated, and comfortable working in a competitive field sales role
  • Comfortable with regular travel across the assigned territory
  • Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, or a related field preferred, but not required for the right candidate
