Purpose Statement

The Regional Director provides strategic and relational leadership for a designated region of CBMC. This role is responsible for driving unity and alignment with the organization's Mission, Vision, and Values (MVV); recruiting and developing leaders; building sustainable leadership structures; and ensuring financial health across the region. Through intentional relationship-building, city visitations, coaching, and training, the Regional Director ensures that an increasing number of leaders are identified, connected, engaged, trained, and multiplied to advance the mission of CBMC.

Essential Responsibilities

  • Regional Leadership and Coaching
    Provide guidance, coaching, and encouragement to both staff leaders and volunteer leaders throughout the region, fostering a culture of accountability, growth, and mission alignment. Engage in consistent mentoring, performance development conversations, and leadership support to strengthen regional effectiveness.

    Leadership Identification and Development
    Identify emerging leaders and potential staff and actively engage them in the CBMC Leadership Development process. Strategically mentor Area Leaders through a defined development roadmap while cultivating a strong pipeline of future leaders.

    Relational Engagement and Regional Presence
    Maintain strong relationships across the region through intentional one-on-one engagement, regular communication, and travel. Conduct consistent visits with leaders to provide encouragement, alignment, and strategic support.

    Ministry Expansion and Organizational Building
    Serve as a builder of ministry by strategically identifying opportunities for new area development and strengthening existing ministry presence. Align and deploy people and resources to maximize effectiveness and expand the reach and impact of the organization.

    Strategic Communication and Influence
    Lead influential conversations that inspire engagement, reinforce the organization's mission and vision, and drive alignment among staff, volunteer leaders, and stakeholders. Demonstrate strong leadership and strategic communication to ensure clarity and direction across the region.

    Change Leadership and Organizational Alignment
    Lead and navigate organizational change with clarity and confidence, helping staff and volunteer leaders understand and implement evolving strategies, priorities, and initiatives.

    Development and Funding Growth
    Support the funding of ministry growth by participating in development activities and equipping leaders to engage in fundraising efforts. Help cultivate relationships that strengthen financial sustainability and expand ministry impact.

Education & Experience

  • Bachelor's degree or advanceddegree
  • Five to seven years of successful experience in sales or relatedfield

Compensation & Benefits

Salary Range: $94,000 - $127,000

Retirement: 401(k) plan with 6% employer match
