Job description

Are you passionate about innovation and making an immediate impact on customers' lives? daily? Are you a data-driven, technical product leader with experience launching enterprise software?
As a Senior Product Manager - Technical, you will be responsible for (1) owning the expansion of Alexa built-in (ABI) segments and Alexa+ features for ABI endpoints (2) make product tradeoffs on scope, sequencing, and rollout strategy based on customer impact and partner maturity, (3) translate Alexa roadmap features into OEM-ready product requirements, factoring in firmware constraints, UX differences, and partner capabilities, (4) work closely with engineering to shape release architecture, dependencies, and backward compatibility for OEM devices, (5) work closely with Product, Engineering, QA, Certification, BD/Partner Management, and Ops teams to ensure aligned execution, (6) define and track release quality metrics (defects, launch escapes, partner readiness signals), (7) drive post-launch retrospectives, root-cause analysis, and continuous improvement across partner release processes. (8) Redefine 3P TV apps and mobile endpoints CX, working with Mobile, Prime Video, FTV and other teams.
Key job responsibilities
(1) Define and own partner release PRDs / launch docs for Alexa Built-In features
(2) Drive cross-functional alignment across Product, Engineering, QA, Certification, BD, and Ops
(3) Author Amazon-style product mechanisms: PRFAQs, LRRs, CPRs, roadmap reviews
(4) Identify systemic partner release pain points and convert them into product or platform initiatives
(5) Represent partner release priorities in quarterly and annual planning
A day in the life
As a Senior Product Management-Technical, you will work with customers to assist in define the product vision and business plan for a new, strategic Alexa business. You will get buy-in on your vision from customers, partners, and executives across the company. You will collaborate with design and engineering leaders to assist in define product requirements, delightful user experiences, and a scalable architecture. You will collaborate with marketing, PR, and BDSA leaders to assist in define how to take your products to market and drive broad adoption. You will partner with design, engineering, business development, solutions architecture, and finance leaders to support build roadmap(s) . Partner with customers and OEM partners to provide them with APIs or device specs to build the NorthStar Alexa built-in experiences for Smart TVs, Speakers and more device form factors.

The Alexa Enterprise (AE) mission is to extend Alexa's capabilities and services to partners, accelerating Alexa's vision of creating the smartest, most capable, and trusted GenAI personal assistant. We help our partners create value and deliver a business we love. Alexa Built-In (ABI) is one product portfolio of AE, and it adds Alexa to 3P endpoints such as Smart TVs and Speakers to profitably drive incremental endpoints and new-to-Alexa customer acquisition. We build a portfolio of B2B2C software-as-a-service (SaaS) products that empower developers and enterprise companies to use voice to support their device usage and delight their customers.
We serve world-class customers such as Samsung, LG, Philips, Hisense, Sonos, and Bose, powering Alexa experience in millions of devices worldwide. Our team owns the end-to-end Alexa experience on a third-party device. Customers can ask Alexa to search their favorite content, control their smart home, change their device settings, and even switch devices on/off without using physical device buttons.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
- 5+ years of product or program management, product marketing, business development or technology experience
- Bachelor's degree
- Experience with feature delivery and tradeoffs of a product
- Experience owning/driving roadmap strategy and definition
- Experience with end to end product delivery
- Experience contributing to engineering discussions around technology decisions and strategy related to a product
- Experience managing technical products or online services
- Experience in representing and advocating for a variety of critical customers and stakeholders during executive-level prioritization and planning
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Experience in using analytical tools, such as Tableau, Qlikview, QuickSight
- Experience in building and driving adoption of new tools

The base salary range for this position is listed below. Your Amazon package will include sign-on payments and restricted stock units (RSUs). Final compensation will be determined based on factors including experience, qualifications, and location.
