Wilderness Ridge is the most unique golf course in the state of Nebraska. With its granite, boulder-lined ponds and streams, bent grass fairways, and more than 6,000 trees throughout the 18 hole championship course and 9 hole executive track, it’s truly a resort-style golfing experience. Wilderness Ridge also offers a casual restaurant featuring steaks and seafood, as well as private banquet spaces for events of any occasion and size.

A Day in the Life

As a Restaurant Bartender, you are responsible for creating a welcoming and engaging bar experience while preparing and serving high-quality beverages. You play a key role in delivering exceptional service and maintaining a clean, organized, and efficient bar environment.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Prepare the bar for service in accordance with company standards, including:

    • Ensuring adequate inventory and supplies

    • Preparing garnishes, mixes, and pre-batched items

  • Greet guests promptly and create a welcoming atmosphere

  • Mix, prepare, and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to approved recipes

  • Monitor guest satisfaction and promptly escalate concerns to a manager

  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar, including equipment and work areas

  • Follow all closing procedures, including cleaning, restocking, and securing the bar

  • Perform other duties as assigned

Qualifications

  • Must meet legal age requirement to serve alcohol (19+)

  • Valid City and State alcohol permits required

  • Food Handler Permit required

  • High school diploma or equivalent required

  • Minimum of 1 year bartending experience preferred

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills

  • Ability to multitask, stay organized, and perform under pressure with minimal supervision
