New Tech Global Staffing is currently seeking aSpecimen Collector for a client in Tulsa, OK to join our team. This is a contract-to-hire opportunity.

Pay: $18.00/hour

Schedule: Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM CST

Summary

Responsible for collecting urine, hair, oral fluid, and breath alcohol specimens in a professional, confidential, and compliant manner. The Specimen Collector manages the complete collection process, including specimen handling, documentation, packaging, and shipping, while ensuring compliance with federal, state, and client-specific requirements. This role also provides excellent customer service to donors and clients throughout the testing process.

Responsibilities

Conduct specimen collections including urine, hair, oral fluid, and breath alcohol testing according to established procedures

Ensure specimen integrity, security, and proper chain of custody throughout the collection process

Complete and maintain accurate documentation, including donor information, testing records, and chain-of-custody forms

Provide clear instructions to donors and answer questions in a professional and respectful manner

Maintain compliance with DOT regulations, federal and state requirements, and client policies

Protect the confidentiality and privacy of donor and client information at all times

Monitor and maintain collection equipment and testing supplies

Package and ship specimens to laboratories following established procedures

Transmit required documentation and notifications to appropriate personnel

Assist in training new collectors on proper collection procedures and protocols

Deliver excellent customer service and maintain professional interactions with donors and clients

Perform observed or supervised collections when required

Support a positive and professional testing environment

Other duties may be assigned

Qualifications

High School Diploma or GED required

Minimum of 1 year of experience in specimen collection, healthcare support, customer service, or a related field

Basic proficiency with Microsoft Office and Adobe Acrobat/PDF-based applications

Ability to obtain required certifications, including DOT Urine Specimen Collection, DOT Evidential Breath Testing (EBT), and Hair Collection certifications

Strong communication and customer service skills

Excellent attention to detail and ability to follow detailed procedures and regulations

Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion

Strong organizational and time management skills

Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Reliable, professional, and dependable work ethic
