Product Specialist - Construction Equipment
ABOUT THE ROLE
As part of the SANY America team, SANY America is seeking an experienced and highly motivated Product Specialist-Construction Equipment with the deep investment and backing of SANY Group, the Americas business expects to grow significantly in the coming years.
The Product Specialist is responsible for supporting the lifecycle of construction equipment products through market research, competitive analysis, product planning, dealer support, and new product launches. This role works closely with Engineering, Sales, Service, Marketing, and Manufacturing to ensure products meet customer needs and market requirements.
With current revenues over $500 million, SANY America continues to make strong progress and significant investments in the Americas market; the organization is now pursuing an aggressive growth strategy and is looking to move quickly beyond this initial platform and increase their market share.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Conduct market research and competitive product analysis.
  • Support product planning, new product introductions, and product launches.
  • Develop product specifications, sales tools, and technical documentation.
  • Provide technical support and product training to dealers and internal teams.
  • Gather customer and dealer feedback to drive product improvements.
  • Support pricing analysis and product positioning.
  • Operate and evaluate heavy construction equipment during product testing, demonstrations, and field validation.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve product quality and customer satisfaction.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
  • 5+ years of experience in product management, engineering, or the construction equipment industry.
  • Hands-on operating experience with heavy construction equipment (e.g., excavators, wheel loaders, skid steer loaders, compact track loaders, telehandlers, or rollers) is required.
  • Strong analytical, communication, and presentation skills.
