JOB DESCRIPTION
Reporting to the Area Manager, the Merchandiser will be responsible for maintaining and enhancing the visibility of our products in retail accounts. This includes stocking shelves, building displays, managing inventory, and supporting sales efforts to ensure our brands stand out.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Stock and maintain shelves and displays in accordance with company standards and retailer agreements.
  • Set up and maintain promotional displays, including proper signage and pricing.
  • Rotate inventory to ensure freshness and compliance with product expiration dates.
  • Collaborate with sales representatives and retail staff to meet and exceed sales goals.
  • Monitor inventory levels and promptly report shortages or restocking needs.
  • Educate store staff about featured products and promotions to drive sales.
  • Ensure strict compliance with local and federal alcohol laws as well as company policies.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
  • Physical demands with activity or condition for a considerable amount of time may include sitting and typing/keyboarding using a computer (e.g., keyboard, mouse, and monitor) or mobile device
  • Physical demands with activity or condition may include walking, bending, reaching, standing, squatting, and stooping
  • Require lifting/lowering, pushing, carrying, or pulling up to 45 lbs.
  • Requires driving daily to and from customer accounts within assigned territories

QUALIFICATIONS
  • 21 years or older
  • Must be able to pass a background and drug screening for hire and randomly throughout employment
  • High School Diploma or GED
  • Previous experience in retail, sales, or merchandising (1-2 years preferred).
  • Experience in the wine and spirits industry is a plus
  • Excellent organizational, time management, communication, and interpersonal skills
  • Capable of working independently and collaboratively within a team
  • Strong PC application skills in Microsoft Office Suite and inventory tracking systems
  • The ability to interact across teams in a fast-paced environment
  • Willingness to travel to multiple store locations as needed
  • Must be proactive, resourceful, and efficient
  • Hold a valid and current Texas driver's license and ensure reliable, insured transportation is maintained
  • Driving record must be within MVR policy guidelines throughout employment
    • The policy must include the following minimum coverage: $100,000 for bodily injury, $300,000 for liability, and $50,000 for property damage
  • This position requires flexibility, including but not limited to availability to work early mornings, evenings, weekends, or holidays as needed
