• Conduct thorough initial assessments to determine clients' mental health conditions, history, and specific needs, ensuring a comprehensive understanding before treatment begins.
• Create and implement individualized treatment plans that are aligned with clients' personal goals, providing actionable steps for their mental health journeys.
• Provide evidence-based individual therapy with adults, utilizing modalities such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and mindfulness practices tailored to the client’s needs.
• Facilitate virtual therapy sessions via our secure teletherapy platform, managing scheduling and client communications effectively.
• Provide crisis intervention and support as necessary, ensuring clients have access to emergency resources when needed.
• Participate in ongoing professional development through workshops, seminars, and team meetings, remaining informed on the latest mental health practices and legislative changes.

As a Mental Health Counselor at Albright, you will work primarily with adults facing a range of challenges, including but not limited to anxiety, depression, trauma, and relationship issues. Our clients present a diverse array of backgrounds, necessitating a culturally competent, empathetic approach to therapy that acknowledges individual differences and promotes a safe therapeutic environment.

• A valid and current mental health license as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC), Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), or Doctor of Psychology (PsyD).
• A master's or doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology.
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills that foster trust and rapport with clients.
• Exhibit a compassionate, empathetic, and non-judgmental attitude in all client interactions.
• Strong organizational and time-management skills to handle counseling schedules and paperwork efficiently.
• No prior history of disciplinary action in your licensure.

• Experience working with varied client populations and familiarity with teletherapy best practices.
• Proven track record in handling diverse mental health conditions and crises.
• Engagement in community service or outreach programs related to mental health advocacy.

• Competitive salary range of $90,000 to $104,000 annually, dependent on caseload and experience.
